Public Library of Science - PLoS is a non-profit organization of scientists and physicians committed to making the world's scientific and medical literature a freely available public resource.

PubMed Central - The NIH Public Access Policy requires scientists to submit journal final peer-reviewed manuscripts that arise from NIH funds to the digital archive PubMed Central . The Policy requires that these articles be accessible to the public on PubMed Central to help advance science and improve human health.
